Depending on where you live in Georgia, you have a lot of good stuff to choose from.

When you get into a tight place and everything goes against you, till it seems as though you could not hang on a minute longer, never give up then, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn.

You are only 1.5 hours from Ellijay and Gates Chapel Road where Pinhoti 1, 2, and 3 are. You are probably about the same drive to Bull Mountain. If you ever want to make a good day trip check these areas out. A lot more mountainous and super trails. Then you have Dry Creek near Dalton and a lot more.
