If your talking about the Grapefruit Trail it's a blast. It's only about 1 1/2 mile loop but it littered with jumps, drops, and stunts. Kinda like a mini Vortex area built in trail form.

Some of the DJ pics are private but GF has a set of there own. The place is real fun, wish it wasn't 2hrs north from me.

Malabar is not the GFT. Malabar is a flat scrub type trail. If you have ridden south of there in Ft. Pierce or Halpatiokee this would the their love child. Not technical at all but some tight flowy turns that can be fun with speed.

Thanks folks, so would you classify it as "not worth a 3 hour trip, but if you're in the area"?

Malabar Scrub is definitely not worth a three hour drive to check out. If you like jumps and freeride flow, GFT is a lot of fun, I know peeps that drive up from Miami to ride there. That said from a strictly XC perspective, its pretty short.

Halpat is indeed very similar and currently in better shape than Malabar (Turkey Creek).
Now for a really fun time, but longer drive, go up past Daytona and hit both Mala Compra and Graham Swamp. And, when we get into dry season put Chuck Lennon on your list....no better flow trail around IMO, and maybe an hour from the other 2.
'Almost forgot, Snowhill is decent now as well and not quite as far.
