    Indoor park - Miami

I am just trying to get a feel of what people would think about an indoor park in the Miami area. i know there are trails around (Oleta and Markham) but with the weather being irratic at times just thought it would be a good idea.

Let me know what you think!!

it sounds fun but I dont know how profitable an indoor park would be in a state that you can pretty much ride outdoors year round. sure we have our months of extreme heat but you can still make it out for a short ride. this would likely be a better idea in areas like vermont where the trails are covered in snow for months with sub zere weather

I think making an indoor park would pull more people into the sport. The only problems I would foresee would be (1) people constantly getting hurt (mainly kids), and an abulance pretty much taking up station out in the parking lot. (2) Real estate is very expensive n S.FL. especially for businesses...and keeping the A/C is expensive for a warehouse type setup.

Making it happen and conquoring those obstacles, it would be pretty entertaining, and pull a lot of people into the sport, and publicity especially in Mountain Bike Action type magazines.

I'd check it out, sure. But just like any trail, my decision to ride it on a given day will be based on a combination of travel time and the quality of the trail. How much it costs to get in would also be a factor, but as long as it's cheap enough it won't matter. There are certainly some state parks I don't balk at paying to enter. Anyway, I'm in PBC, so if I'm driving an hour plus to get there your park would have steep competition with all the other amazing trails in the Miami area.
