I'll be there racing the 50 also. Not my first race ever but my first in many years.

I am doing the 100, if everything goes right. Breaking in a new bike as well, hopefully all goes well. Done the 50's in the past years and need the extra challenge, this is going to do it for sure.

In for the 50 Solo! Camping at Santos Campground!

Would it be wise to ride from the Campground to the Startline? or is it too far?

If you wanna make it the 75 solo you could ride from the campground... Can't think of the mileage right off-hand, but you are looking at a 30-40 minute ride to the start. That's using the trails tho. Riding on the road might be shorter and quicker, but you gotta remember it is still an 8AM start. Best just to load the car and make the 10 minute drive to the start.

The course is marked. I'm going to check out the SS course tomorrow. To my knowledge the trails are in bad shape. Super dry.

I'm going to decide between the 25 and 50 tomorrow after checking the trail conditions.

We rode the epic two weekends ago and the Christmas section was sandy but the rest was not bad. It did get some rain last weekend and it looks like its going to get some Saturday as well. Let me know though how its rides, I was just thinking of tire combo choices.

I'm in the 100 and have a question for those that have done this. I am solo, with no support crew/team. Should I plan to have all of my additional bottles/nutrition available to replenish each loop, or is there any support on the course at all? Will I have a way to setup a 'pit area' where I can have a cooler with those additional bottles, etc. ready to go?

In years past they have water bottles/cups at the overpass and the other sag station was at the turn around point. There would be a tent set-up at this second sag with water and HEED. I have only done the 50, so I do not know how long they are out there.

I biggie sized up to the 100 & it's my first mtb enduro ... signed up for HI Cascades 100 n Bend OR & Fool's Gold 100 this year so figured I'd better "Cowgirl UP" and jump in with both wheels!! Looks like the rain will help traction and the vids make the trail look fun & fast - would luv to finish in 8-9 hours! Signed, Hippie MTB Chic

How did everyone do? I finished at 299.22. I learned a lot and will do a few things different next time for sure. Could have taken it out a lot faster and left too much in the tank at the end.

The trails were in great shape with a few muddy spots but well packed. It was a fun race. Cant wait till the 8 hours of labor team race.

Wow, I'm famous now! I'm in the first video on your page, rolling up at about the 15 second mark, checking out where I was going to setup my cooler. Very nice job on the video!

It was a fun day on the trails, the rain made the course so nice.
