Hey guys,
I live in Atlanta, GA and am looking for some demo days coming up:thumbsup:. It is really hard to find out when these occur unless I stumble into a random LBS and find out through a flyer on the wall. Are they posted online somehwere or do they not happen that often?
I have been here for about 3 years and have gone from my first HT 29er to my current SC Superlight, but it appears the marketing experts of the bike industry have done it again and made me quite interested in a FS 27.5. Anyways, I do not race xc so I would consider my style more recreational "all mountain" i.e. hitting whatever jumps the trail has to offer, whipping around tight berms, making the most out of my full suspension, etc. I love to ride and I consider myself in good shape with decent skill, but I feel the current 29er is just blahh; like the 29er takes me for a ride rather than "flicking" around a 26er. I like the rolling advantage of the big wheels, but I would rather give some of that up for more fun.
So with all of that said, any suggestions on where I can try some of these bikes locally, prefferably a demo day? Any suggestions on a 27.5 (Norco Sight, SC 5010, Trey Fuel ex) for my area of tight single track, some small rocks and roots. Lastly, anyone wanna ride? My few friends that I started riding with have either become lazy, poor or married and can't keep up.:nono:
