    Anyone doing the race on Dauset Trails - Jackson, GA - 6-13-10

    Is it worth the drive from Orlando Fl do race this race.
    How are the trails
    How are the conditions

    It's a big-ring course that gives big smiles. Worth the drive from NC, easily.

    can you get by with semi slick type tires?

    I'm not sure what constitutes a semi-slick. I was running a Specialized Fast Trak LK on the rear, now a Maxxis Crossmark. Both are minimally be-knobbed, both hook up well at Dauset.

    How long does it take for the course to dry out after a thunderstorm? I'm thinking I may need my mud tires for Sunday's race.

    Bummer, I have been watching the weather and I thought it may be dry.
    Is it worth a 7 hour drive or has it been raining up there?
