    Alafia trail conditions???

I'm looking to ride Alafia on Friday. Can anyone tell me the trail conditions so I don't waste a 2 hour drive? I just want to make sure it isn't under water. Thank you!

even if it's not under water, that limestone mud is ridiculously slippery when it's damp.

So are you saying it is wet out there? Not worth the trip?

Was perfectly dry out there on Sunday. Got some rain yesterday, but most of it appears to be staying away from this area. I would say the conditions would be pretty good on Friday.

I just rode there last sunday and it was great!!! Swamp club just did their workday and the trails were smooth.... too smooth. Hopefully there has been a little rain since then.

Only slight mud in a few of the really low sections, hardly enough to count.

Gatorback is in pretty good shape too.

Good to know, I am on my way to Alafia/Balm/Carter late Sat. Night for Sunday/monday riding! I am so stoked to be hitting Alafia again. I need the different variety from Markham/Oleta/Amelia once in a while!
