This is going to be our second race after the squiggy classic earlier this year, and we are expecting it to be a lot of challenging fun! We visited the trails last weekend and decided that they are our favorite from all other trails in the area (Alafia, Boyette, Carter, Morris Bridge/Flatwoods) in its own special way. There is so much climbing, and then the slight downhill sections can really mess you up. We had a rider crash and break his Avid Juicy 3 lever on the tree he hit! right where it clamps on to the bars.
We are goign to be racing the 3 man team division, and want to be well prepared. Can anyone give us a few tips on the whats' and hows'? Preparing, energy bars, gels, ect.
The tips would be greatly appreciated
