3 forums down (NH SSer looking for FL trails)

....or 1400 miles north, either way you want to look at it.

    Hello FL riders,

I'm heading down your way tonight with my Karate Monkey.
I'm looking for some trails between Orlando and Daytona.
My in-laws live in Port Orange and we are visiting for a week or so.

I've been to Ocala, Hanna Park (Jacksonville), Bulow Creek (Ormond), but wanted to try a few new spots.
Any info would be great, such as group rides, etc.
I'm not picky, just want to ride in the woods.
I understand if you don't want to tell me but show me.

    Thanks in advance,
    Dan

Not much between Orlando and Daytona, but I would suggest taking a trip out to Santos in the Ocala area for a ton of great singletrack.

    Snowhill Rd(Little Econlockhatchee Trail)

Only one worthwhile east of Orlando, IMO, otherwise go NW to Santos.

There is Spruce creek in PO, I've never been there though. Supposedly it is an OK trail.

Spruce Creek and Snowhill are OK and a better option than not riding at all, however, if you have to drive more than 15 minutes to get to either, I would just budget the extra time and drive to Santos.

Try Alaphia and Carter Rd. They are about an hour West of Orlando. Swamp website will give you directions.

    try the TOE

It is in Lakeland, and very cool. Jumps and stunts as well as 10 miles of very nice singletrack. If you are a non-member you need to make special arrangements, but they are very cool about it. Check out ridgeriders.net, and you can ask for someone to show you the trails and get you in on the BB. Totally worth the trip from orlando IMHO.
