Gunnar Roadie huh? Me too! The bike rides great although I'm still not sold on the Profile SC fork. Even the Gunnar, while certainly not custom, is boutiquish so maybe this forum really should be small builders rather than custom. Just a thought.
They'll do custom geometry, paint, and S&S couplers. At the time I got my Roadie, the 1-1/8 head tube was a customization. While it's not custom, I dig their color of the month program. I have a Roadie and a Crosshairs, both in COTM.
Do we have some more recent Waterford or Gunnar bikes here? Looking for specific fit (high stack) and geometry with an all road or adventure bike a 14 series Waterford looks attractive or better than a lot of boutique or specialty options. They've got decades of manufacturing their bikes and others as customs or small batches and customs available at prices like some have stock bikes.
My goal is a lighter and more distance and speed oriented bike than the off road tourers my wife and I have. Fargo and road bike have a baby.
