Let's here from all the Fisher owners...

I've got two of them...A 2000 Sugar3 and a 1999 HooKooEKoo....

Both bikes are going strong and I'm riding them 5-6 times a week no major incidents...

Calling all Fishers

I have a pair of gary fishers. My first Mtn Bike was a 2000 Big Sur, and I got a 2003 Sugar 2+ with Disks in December 2002. I love them both!! Genesis Geometry fits me very well, and both bikes have handled my lack of skill and finessewithout any trouble. I recently painted my old Big Sur black, and upgraded to avid disks, and a Marzocchi MX comp with ETA. I'll post some pics when I get a chance. Later, Sasquatch

just testing something about uploading >1 image

Thanks for allowing me to use your post as a test. So multiple images that are attached can appear as photos in a round about way--edit the post after attaching.

Aaah, Double Barrels

Those look really good on your Sugar...but then again, they look good on every bike. Too bad they went out of business.

Got an '01 Sugar 1 (now called the "Team") and two '00 X-Calibers. The Sugar is set up as a 7spd (34x11-32) with 195mm cranks. Let's see... does this new board support HTML?

the fork came off my other bike so i chucked it on as anything would be better than the RS judy that was on there. It's set up with loads of sag so it's not too chopper like plus you've got the ETA if you are climbing but i use this bike mostly for street, trialsy type stuff so it's sweet for that.

I had similar troubles with my Paragon. It also came with a judy which I realized I had to ditch after about two weeks of riding it. So I put a Black on it (I now have an 80 mm fork), but the 100 mm just messed up the steering too much and I didn't even need that much travel. I can't imagine using 125! But if it works for you, thats what counts. If I can bum a camera off of a friend, I'll post mine up here sometime.

Here's my paragon. Not many stock parts left, but still plenty of work left to do.

Rolf Urraco Wheelset (to be replaced soon)
LX Shifter/Lever combo (front shifter dismantled)
XT Rear der.
XT Front der. (currently used as a chain guide)

Sram PC-59 chain
Time ATAC XS pedals
Performace CTX-XC Carbon Bar
USE Alien Al. Post
Bontrager Race Stem
Avid 20 brakeset

Oh, and it's my first shot at multiple pics, so it might not work.

I have 2 GF's

I have a 2000 Sugar 3 with lots of upgrades and is now my racing bike. I also have an old '92 Paragon...all rigid. I turned that into a somewhat road bike. No pics though. I'll take some soon and post them 'cuz the old Paragon is a sweet light-bright orange. So bright, I really don't need lights at night.

And my wife has an '01 Sugar 4.

Here is my 99 Kaitai. It is my tweener bike, between the days I ride the Turner and the Road bike.

Large Frame
Sid XC Fork
Avid brake levers and v-brakes
LX Hubs and Velocity Wheels
WTB Nanorapter Tires with Airlock Tubes
Terry Fly Saddle with Pazzaz Seatpost
Sette Stem and Performance Carbon Fiber Riser Bars
LX Hollowtech Cranks/XT front derailler/Sram Chain/ STX Shifters and XT 8 speed cassette
Shimano 535 pedals

Great bike, only original items left are the Frame, rear derailler, shifters and headset. Ready to roll with the Airlock tubes comes in at about 25-26 pounds (which is fine for the 225 pound rider).
