Moots Rigor Mootis
Pace RC31 Carbon forks
Marta SL
Sram XO
Crossmax XL

Gonna be a 1x9er... and hopefully that works out, or I will have to go trad 3x9.

Still, waiting for my Moots layback seatpost...

Any ideas/input welcomed.

Very impressive looking bike indeed. Do you intend on keeping it ridged or will you perhaps put a fork on it, ie the lefty as discussed elsewhere.

Any idea of the weight? I would imagine with the UST tyres you will be in the sub 20Lb region or just on 20Lbs??

Very nice bike indeed, be sure to share it over on the weight board, as I know there are some very eager 1x9ers there!

Ciao
Trevor!

Well, I am going to keep it rigid. At least for now...
I am not particularly a weight weenie, so I always like solid and lightweight.
I figure it will be right around ±20 lbs, but I run heavy ass platforms, so that negates ultra light weights. Should just buy EggBeater Triple Ti's and post on Light-bikes.com. HA!
I will post on the "other" boards once it is complete... but that won't be until the first week of the New Year, wow, almost 2004.
As far as shocks, I will probably get a Fox 80, but the idea of a carbon or ti Lefty really intrigues me. Luckily I am a buck 40 soaking wet, so I don't usually trash or test anything's limits.

Yeah, I am on an Apple, but it's a laptop and LCD can be funky in regards to brights and darks.

Thanks!

Very nice!

I'm hoping to have a new Moots Rigor Mootis singlespeed with an eccentric bottom bracket in the spring of 2004. This option is currently not available (only horizontal dropouts), but I've spoken with Moots and they are going to be offering it soon.

I'm currently riding a Seven Ti disc-only SS with eccentric and it has been flawless. But, it's 3+ yrs old and I've always lusted for a Moots....perfect excuse for a new frame ;)

Lust...

...a perfect excuse for anything. Right?!

I almost bought your Morati fork, I believe, though it was a little rich for my blood. Damn them Czechs.

I got lucky for on my Rigor, cuz the decal was a little messed up. But, I was like a discount and I don't have to fret about putting the first decal scratch, sweet!!!

I am mid-project with my RigorMootis, too. Having grown tired of all the extraneous gears I have decided to make it an addition to my singlespeed stable with the use of an ENO rear hub. I'll post back if/when it all comes together. Anyone want to buy some shifters, cogs, derailleurs, etc., etc.... ;)
