    Would be a great idea.
I've been encouraging Zerode owners to post their set ups on Crankins face book page, but other than photos nobody has seemed to have bothered as yet.
Would be handy having people post their shock set ups, and be able to help new Zerode owners with what might be obvious Alfine questions to long term Zerode owners.

Still no Zerode section... There are a ton of us owners now. This would be nice.

    Come on MTBR.

    Hi!

Yes we need a Zerode section. Not just a thread, but a whole section, with threads for specific questions, setups, modifications, etc.

I've made custom cogs for me and kntr, an Alfine mud-guard, and have a bunch of other things cooking.

    My old G1.
Will post my G2 up later.
Meanwhile, until we get a thread, Crankin FaceBoook page is there to use.

Your custom cog works awesome. I love the lower gearing and I still never pedal out... even at Whistler. I love this bike. Im not sure if I want a G2 or not. I like the 9.25" of travel.

This place also makes one that fits.

Yeah, my one is a Rennen with holes drilled in it, old school weight saving style.
I also loved the G1, mainly got a G2 because I needed it as a demo bike as we sell them here. I wouldn't sell a G1 to get a G2 otherwise. G2 is more racy feeling, but doesn't mean it's quicker for most, and there's sweet F A in it. A shock tune or different spring could make more of a difference in feeling. G2 is slightly longer and does come in large though.
I'm having trouble selling my barely used G1 for nearly half retail price. Might build it back up and sell my G2 just as it's worth more.
G1 for sale if anyones keen. I'm in Oz, but our dollar has dropped again, so probably really cheap for someone in USA etc.
