Viewing MTBR.com in full width, what am I missing

MTBR upgraded to the year 1998? Fixed-width web sites?

Please tell me that I'm missing something simple, maybe a silly little user-setting check box or ? The old MTBR loaded just fine, now it's 980px wide? FF v18 on XP SP3.

    Heres how to fix it:
Settings > My account > General settings > Miscellaneous Options > Forum Skin > Wide

Or just change in the bottom left corner of any page.

Or better yet, look at the very pronounced "Announcement" at the top of each and every sub-forum, and watch its included "forum how-to" video.

Forcing a user to probe for a layout change is a case example of a dev team who has nobody with any real UX chops... carry on.
