That should be fixed now, it was a weird script in a flyinmike's post. Not the first time I have seen that script cause problems.

So things are not all browser related, as has been the default response ... Interesting.

Well perhaps try the "thanks for..." before the accusatory tone, makes you seem less of a broken record. Seriously.

Sorry ... And if I had gotten to the thread before you, it would have been that way.

    Now please consider this,
A script caused a problem with the thread the OP referenced ... Are there others ?

I'm still quite surprised that the iframe tag is allowed on this forum as a method of linking to youtube, because there are known issues when this is allowed ... And if I'm reading this thread correctly, an end-user has the ability to load a script within their post ... Are there any scripts running around via spam or unintentional user posts that might be causing problems for other users ?

Occasionally there are malicious scripts inserted by spammer but they usually result in people either getting a popup within a thread or as in this case, it stops the code on the page from completing. It isn't usually a problem and spammers rarely ever use scripts. Most spammers are about getting hit counts within the google webcrawlers for their web address. That is what all those spammers with numbers in their names are doing (Marg4ret for example).

We haven't had a problem with the iFrame tag before as far as I know, 99.9% of people here don't do malicious things intentionally. For a short period people in the OC posted music in threads using the iFrame tag and its size parameter set at 1x1 so it was invisible. Funny, rickroll, etc but it ended. I can recall maybe 3 incidents of porn spammers putting a script into a thread. It was easy to find.

Could there be others? possibly but it would be cause problems within a particular thread not site wide and just like this example it would either be reported or mentioned here.
