Official Change your username thread instructions:

1. check here for the user name you would like to have: http://forums.mtbr.com/memberlist.php?do=search
   if it isn't available check for alternate spellings, add _ or - to it, avoid punctuation as it can make errors in the database.
2. Post a request for the new user name here.
3. Wait for the change.
4. Remember your new user name when you log in next.

Note: requests for user names changes for a name that is already taken but is held by lurkers will be considered on a case by case basis. Sometimes users lurk and sometimes the name was registered but never used, that will determine whether you can steal it or not.


Can I change my user ID/screen name on MTBR.com to match my Roadbikereview.com screen name, velocanman?

If not I'll just have to start over and rebuild my status from newbie.
