    winter cruisin

    Winter time is project time.
I just picked up this old cruiser frame and some assorted parts for free. The plan is to repaint the beast and shine it up to give as a 16th birthday present to the gf's little sister. (hopefully she will appreciate the bike more than her drivers license.)

I pulled the fenders off today and built it up to see how it looked. Looks great, but its almost 35 lbs. No brakes, no gears, 24" wheels, and 35 lbs! Holy sh!t! But I guess since steel is real, every single part of this bike is real.

Dude, the current paint job is kick-ass. I don't know what you have in mind, but it's already got a classic look. The white socks on the fork blades, the sweet fenders... Please reconsider.
