What have I done?!?!?! Gunnar Cross Hairs is *****in'!
From my world famous website:
Cross Hairs with vee's:
That's before (cantis with drop style levers piss me off because to adjust, time can be wasted)
And this is after:
I filed the inside of the levers to fit on the 'stashe bars. Feels nice! better adjustement, and if I need new brakes, just look for vee's. Cantis are still cool, but they sure are a pain in the ass.
Now look for yourself, and discuss...
Faster Than Your TV!
Cool idea, but...
that looks like one helluva reach ya got there. You got Gollum fingers or what?
Not for the gnome-handed.
not only am I a left-handed Mexican, I can reach the levers without a problem. My hands have average girth.

where/how did you file
Nice work ErNestO. I've actually been considering doing something similar with my KM. I'd have it set up with the normal riser bar, but when I wanted to have different hand positions for cross riding, I'd switch to my moustache w/ vee levers already installed so I wouldn't have to mess w/ changing out brakes to match aero levers.
How much and where did you file? Any special tools? Dremmel? Please say that you used a dremmel!!!
By the way....are you the same ErNestO that sold me a wheelset a few years ago....surly rear and suntour front on velocity rims? If so, they've been sweet.
No way! that's cool! I totally remember that wheelset! WAHOOOO!
