    Vicious monolith 26er or 69er..??..

I picked up this frameset used as a 26" ss. I popped the wheels on & am surprised by the front wheel clearance on it with a 26X2.35. Turns out Vicious sells this same length fork as a 29 or a 26 in the same 438mm length. It handles fairly neutral with a 26 & am wondering what opinions are on the handling if I throw a 29 on the front. Thanks SM

it's going to flip-flop alot more, and your front will be more likely to wash out on you.
The problem is the headtube angle. If you throw another 1.5" under the front, it's going to be pretty raked out. Bikes that are designed as a 69er have frame geometry corrected for that. 1.5" is alot.

    Singular makes a frame that can be run as a 26" 0r a 69'er.
