Vassago Gearplug (where to buy?)

I can't find this thing anywhere. Vassago lists them on their site w/pricing but I don't see a checkout option. Any help would be much appreciated! Thx!

Ok, thanks. I "think" that I found/purchased one from Rock climbing, mountain biking information & equipment last night. I put one in my cart and paid for it at checkout so hopefully I receive it.

Their website is kind of funky. There isn't a "search" bar within their site that I could find. I had to google "trails-edge gearplug" then follow the given link to their site that has the page containing the gearplug. I couldn't find it by just trying to navigate their site.

Make sure you're getting Gear Plug 2. The first version had some issues IIRC.

Not really sure which it is? Vassago's site says that there were issues with the 2 snapping so they were re-releasing the original version.

After doing a search it looks as though the original can/will work but I will possibly have to do a little creative engineering.

Never got it. I emailed the site that I placed the order with "trails-edge" and about a month or more later they returned my email saying it was on back order. I'll probably end up buying a different frame for running gears.

Looking at the design of the original, is there any reason why you couldn't just bolt a RD hanger in the track ends or clamp through the hub axle?

According to their website, the new owners will be officially opening their office on January 1st, 2012. I would like to get my hands on a gearplug as well. Ride SS locally, but would like gears for roadtrips and can not afford to build up another bike.
