My drive side crank on the SS is wallowed out. I finally came to that realization last night on my weekly training ride. Sure hate to see the Suntour XC's go ... they're some good cranks that I've gotten a lot of miles out of.
Any kind of "fix" for that kind of problem? Does shimming the crank w/ a cut up section of aluminum can work?
In the long run, I guess I'll be looking for a set of square taper 180's, unless I can somehow find a person w/ a drive side crank that is in good condition. Time to start haunting ebay although I never win any of the auctions.
