Sweep of a Mary but not the weight?

    As the thread title says:

If I want a bar with the sweep of an On-One Mary but in a lighter package then what are my options?

The Jones and Titec "knock-off" I know about but others??

The H-bars are heavier than the Mary bar, at least in Al.

    Custom Ti?

Um, my Mary bars are aluminum and feel pretty light. Havn't put them on a scale though.

If all goes to plan the bars are for a Superfly SS...

I'm not adverse to carbon either, anyone use a Salsa Pro moto carbon with 17degs sweep?

there's a new Ragley bar that should fit the bill. see twentynineinches.com for details.

speaking of carbon, someone ought to come out with a carbon sweep bar... like the Mary, only lighter and stronger.

I'm using the carbon pro moto, with 17 degree sweep. Nice -- I like the bar, and 17 degrees is pretty good. But, I'd purchase carbon mary bars if they made them. Wonder why nobody has done it?

Kind of a tough geometry to do in composite. It could be done, but it'd be alot of work and expensive. Since the market for these esoteric bars is so limited I don't see it happening soon.
