SS'ing Glamour Girls (BELLAS IN DA HOUSE!)

As many of you know, Velo Bella is not just a cycling team/club, they are also big proponents of girls riding singles. They've been 24hour champs on an all-girl, all-singlespeed team, and regularly have competed in the singlespeed classes at local and national level races.

Check out their site at velobella and surf around, there's lots of pictures of gals on singles! (But not too many single gals!)

In short, Bellas are down for the singlespeeds!

While I dont think any of us will be making the trip to Berlin, we can do a song and dance about it on the website to try and drum something up.

Do we get Phaty's surprise anyway?

Thanks, the more publicity the better! It would be great to have more women at the event, in October at the German SS Champs there were NO women racing! (my GF was gutted as she was going to enter, but had a friends hen-party on the same weekend!)

E-mail me at alexuk@sswc2004.com and I'll send you the full press release.

You might want to find out what Phatys surprise is first.....(even I don't know!)

Well, bring your production over to this side of the lake and we would have no trouble getting the gals to show up.

Your girlfriend needs to get her priorities straight.

I got the info..thanks..we'll put it up and make a hoopla about it.

Well the real charming part about World Championships is that they happen to be organized in several parts of the World ...

    Moscow 2005 anyone?

So far it is 11 girls Alex - without the Brit Chicks so how many do you bring?
Last years World Champion Linda Eckhart from Fairfield/CA will be in the race - as far as I heard she might fly the colors of a Canadian Team this season.
Sara "I don't drink beer" Randle is a given and Becca ...!

I guess we will manage to get 30 women!

Yes, charming. Even the UCI would applaud if they were allowed to engage in such behavior.

I am just now beginning to realize that a world exists outside of California, so you'll have to be patient with me. Is Moscow outside of California or is that one of those Central Valley towns along highway 99?

You got yourselves 30 women..see you dont need us.

Maybe we'll send you all some tokens of Velo bella love for your female winners prize list.

    keine Überraschung für uns

    Tschuss,
    Sabine
