I recently picked up a pink '04 Id and built it up as a 1X9. I'm thinking of converting it to SS because why not. Currently it's running a Shimano Zee crankset with a 36 tooth ring. I've ready that there's very little wheelbase growth when the suspension is compressed. Anybody have any thoughts or advice about cog teeth or a chain tensioner?
