    SS cog Vs. Gears cog

I use 32x21 recently I just change my 7spd cog with SS cog and now it feels heavier.

Is it just me or is there any technical stuffs such as chain tension/width, etc..

BTW it feels great just like my younger day riding BMX.

I'm not sure what "heavier" means, but if the gearing was left the same, it's all in your head.

If your chainline changed for the worse, that could be adding some drag to the setup, giving it a 'heavier' feel. Although bad chainline is typically more an issue of noise and dropping the chain then of drag.

I am not sure if the chainline is the cause, because the chain is fit the cog perfectly.

It's silent when I spin but sometime I heard noises so I can't tell for sure if the chainline is wrong but compare to the setting before which I use 7spd cog the chain is noisy all the time.
