Thought that was me on the cover at first but then I remembered my dress is strapless and all pink. I do not wear Oakleys either.

"ONE" is not about singlespeeds or roadies or freeriders, it's about being a bike rider and the lifestyle. There is a certain pride that comes along with the label.
"ONE" is about taking things lightly, take the piss, living in a cycling community and not giving a sh!t about having the best bike or looking "pro". We are about having fun and not taking ourselves or you too seriously. "ONE" is a voice for you. (so send us stories). Have fun, let loose and share the trail and road.
This first issue of "ONE" sets the pace as a mag that will cover one event, one genre so to speak, of cycling. Number one of "ONE", in case you haven't figured it out, is a "Singlespeed" issue. It only seemed apropriate. We aren't sure what number two of "ONE" will be about but, it will be one magazine about one ascept of what we all do, ride.
We hope this is a start of a very lovely magazine.

A great 'foreword' that some "pro" bikers need to learn.

I thought about getting a subscription, but there is a warning on the cover that says "Nudity Inside". And mixing pornography with single speeding makes baby Jesus cry.

    Questions answered...

We have encountered this question before and I will inform you with the truth...
One Mag was originally started with the intent on setting no boundries on what we could put in the mag but, things change. We had other ideas but found that sticking with the SS scene was really what we wanted to do so, now One Mag is a SS mag. If people don't like the idea of mags jumping on the band wagon of singlespeed with no real heart in the sport I will let you know we are long time singlespeeders and the idea of this magazine has been in the works for four years before we finally got off our asses and did it.

Finally...we do not exist because we have deep pockets, we exist because of our readers and advertisers. We have no money in the bank for issue 3 so we need your support by subscribing and spreading the word.

    Cheers

We need you to keep this mag going!

    Ladies and germs,

We need you out there to keep this mag afloat. We need more orders to make the next issue a reality (SSWC '05). We have a lot of copies still available and the feedback has been great but money talks and makes the print bill less painful.

This is a great little mag with plenty to see and read. We went to great lengths to get this material with the help of many people who donated their time. We even got Eddy Merckx, for real!

So, if you love to support the cause, send us $7 and get a warm feeling in your heart.

    Cheers

Oh so OneMag is Todd from the magazine, back then I was thinking is it the mag or a fan plugging OneMag?

My newsagents sucks, I better subscribe, saves the hassle of digging through shelves looking for a small A6 mag.

I don't like the "shifter" T-shirt , singlespeeds don't have shifters do they?

Good luck OneMag for the future, one step at a time.

More from the maker (one of two makers actually)

Yes... it's me from the "other" mag. But, One is not just me... it's my mate Dave and a slew of others donating their time. Don't worry about us becoming someone elses mag. One of the reasons we were created was to break the mould... or some other cliche saying like that. If you don't like the t-shirt we are going to do more "singlespeed" specific designs in the future. We are almost out of the current one t-shirt.

Re subs... you can only get the mag direct from us or a few bike shops. If you are not in Melbourne then it's best to get direct. We can do Paypal.

    cheers
