    rust question

    Hey there ! Gettin the IF ready for SS conversion via ENO and i have a few bare metal areas with surface rust i want to touch up these area's with paint. does anyone know how to get the surface rust off before painting?

    Brass brush on a dremel tool is one option.

    Fine steel wool, a scotch brite pad or that dremel option mentioned above.

    Some of the sponges have a side that is rough like that, but I think the Scotch Brite is a bit more abrasive. It's green, pretty thin and a bit larger than a sponge. You can find them in the grocery store by the sponges.
