    Road Trip! Bellingham/Seattle/Vancouver this weekend!

What's happening Saturday! I'd like to meet for a good ride as I'm heading up to Vancouver for a!nother engine. I can rent a motel room in close proximity to trails/microbrews in one of those cities. Just have to be in Vancouver noonish Sunday so Saturday is free! Kevin? Monte? Ian?? what's up?

I should be available pretty much all of the day Saturday, let's ride! Hopefully Blowout's up for some riding too Have you ridden Tapeworm in Renton ? If not then that should be somewhere on the day's itinerary I'd say.

... and if we just ... Stocking up, of course!

This "new" engine only has 143,000 miles, the running one in the truck has 236,000 miles. One of them is gonna get a full rebuild. these engines are so rare that I can't depend on finding parts unless I go to Califonya. Like that'll happen...

Or mebbe I'll put two in the truck, one in front and one in back! mebbe I'd get up the hill then!

    The Worm it is!!!!!!!

We'll round up a crew and go out to the Worm with you on Saturday. When can you get up to Renton? It is a short ride, probably 2 hours max, but it is pretty tough, like the really twisty bits of Stella with lots of trees and roots. I'm trying to get Ken to come up, too.
Just tell me when you can get to Renton and we'll meet you there, then take you to Hawaiian food afterwards.

The Tapeworm is off of exit 4 on I-405, the map is here
The park is called Phillip Arnold Park, and it is a little tricky to get up on the hill. Mail me and I'll give you some better driving directions.

One or Two O'Clock in the after noon would work best for me. Then we can get some slupper together.

The tapeworm in the early afternoon, then

So, Seattle riders, Meet at Phillip Arnold park between 1:00 and 2:00 for a ride with Bob around the Worm, Mr. Dna, and the Parasite. Better time details as they are decided.

No problem with ya threespeeding. Chris has more gears on his FSR than I can count (as many as 9!!!) and we trust him not to shift

I've got plans for the evening so I'm not sure I'll have time for the Hawaiian food after. I sure hope I do though, the pork was awesome.

1:30 at the Phillip Arnold Parking Lot.

So we'll meet at the parking lot at 1:30, ride for a few hours, and then go get some serious Hawaiian food (rice, macaroni salad, and lots and lots and lots of roast pork) then we can head back up to my neck of the woods for a few pints at the local brewery (the same stuff I brought down to barbie camp).
The trails might need a bit of clearing as we've just had another night of really strong wind, but for the most part it should be ok.

Bob- you can stay at my palce if you want, I have a few extra bedrooms at the moment, just email me at kyles(at)indiatimes(dot)com. I will aslo send you the directions to the park.
