Removing a ACS Crosfire freewheel from a WI ENO Eccentric hub?

I just got a ACS Crossfire freewheel and put it on my White Industries Eccentric hub, and then realized that the spline interface is different than the old ACS Claws and ENO freewheels use. It looks like ACS sells a tool that will remove the freewheel... but will it work with my eccentric hub?

The tool looks like it has fairly thin walls, so it may fit around the eccentric axle. If not you will probably have to pull the axle out of the hub to get the fw off.

I'm curious about how well the crossfire works. If it is half as good as some of the press I've read it should be a nice alternative to an Eno.

Well, for the record you have to pull the axle end off to get the Crossfire off. I don't know if WI could make a tool that would work with this freewheel even if they wanted to since the spacing is so tight. My shop had the Crossfire tool, so its good to go for now.

From what I can see the quality is definitely improved over the ACS Claw. Better finish, tighter tolerances, faster engagement. But of course, time will tell as to how well durable they are in the long haul.
