    Race SS 29er

Looking for some ideas(not too pricey hopefully) on a good frame(and maybe fork) to set up for some SS racing... I've only ridden steel though I would be willing to go AL or scandium to save some weight, but am still a tad worried about harshness. Especially because I would prefer this to be rigid unless there is some reason i am not seeing to get front susp. w/ lockout.

    Let's hear it guys...!!!!

The Singular Swift has done me well. Very balanced handling. Right now Marty has framesets on sale for $525.

^Both of those are pretty sweet. I ride a One9 myself, and I do 100s on it.

Go with the darkhorse....an On-One Scandal. 3.3 pounds for a small. Very compliant and with a great race inspired geometry. Can be had for less than $375. Then you can use the rest of your money on a light wheelset.
