    Paging Shiggy: Bontrager 29er 2.2

Hi Shiggy.. Do you know if the Bonty 29er tire that lists at 2.2" is really any bigger than everybody elses 2.1? I checked the mudzone and didn't find any listings for it...

GlowBoy has one. I have heard it is not really larger than the WTBs or IRCs.

The trouble with common sense is it is no longer common

    I've got a few

Doesn't seem to be any bigger air-volume wise than my Nanoraptors. They are wider with the sideknobs though - I know this because when I am climbing out of the saddle the tire rubs my left chainstay a little bit. I don't have this problem with my Nanos. I've got to re-dish my wheel over about 1mm and it shouldn't rub.

Great tires, btw. I actually like the Bonty up front and a Nano in the rear. A fast setup that hooks up really well and rides nice...
