    Newbie intro.. 29er content

so I had a fuji Panic pro and my first day moving into my new apartment it got stolen off my porch... Welcome to Albany! hahaha any ways I cruised around on craigslist and found a pretty cool bike, Redline MonoCog 29er. This is my first 29er but not SS, I built a schwinn Continental fixie back in college. Anyways just wanted to introduce my self. sure I will have lots of questions might post a few right now but first here is a pic

as of right now its geared pretty low. I did get an 18t rear cog to put on in the spring to get a little more top end out of her and a front sprocket bash guard. It has Avid mechanical discs that the previous owner put on.

As far as questions go the rear cog doesn't seem to have any spacers to keep it from moving?? Im not that pro at bike mechanics, more into motorcycles but here is a pic

What do I need to get?
anyways looks like a sick forum! Let me know what you think

That is a SS specific wheel, so no spacers. There is a nut on there to hold the cog on. Which looks to be loose?

Nice choice. I had an 08 Monocog and loved it. Then built up another SS last year and ended up selling the Monocog. Wish I hadn't.

    Happy riding.

Yeh I Tightened the nut up we are good now. I couldnt tighten it before before i think some of the threads were worn from the previous owner riding it like this. I got it now though! Went for an epic snow ride last night! it was perfect about 3in of fluff ontop of frozen ground!
