    New to SS, What gears?

O.K. My new Santa Cruz Chameleon is coming in a weak or so.
I haven't ran SS before. But have been practicing with my cassette.
For the type of terrain we have 32-21 works good. So I was thinking of
getting a steel king 20 tooth for the back. Any advice?

What do you run and how is your terrain? Thanks Mojo

i'm running 34:20 on my new chameleon in southern california. it's a little under-geared but i guess that just means i'm good for longer, steeper rides!

I started with a cheapo 18 cog and am going to a cheapo 16 cog. Once I settle on a final gearing I will spend some more money.

    I'm also running a 34:20 combo. I also run a 36 when I'm not climbing as much.
