New Origin 8 Scout 29er SS

Just recently built this up. I'm a huge fan of steel and refuse to ride anything but if it has one gear. So far, I'm VERY impressed with the frame for the price. It is fairly heavy, but I'm no WW and it is a SS, it's not supposed to be svelte.

    O8 Frame
White Brothers Magic 29 80MM fork
    Ritchey bar, stem, and post
Paul hubs, DT spokes, AC front rim, and Velocity Blunt rear rim
    Truvativ crank
    Avid BB7 w/ Speed Levers
    Fizik Aliante saddle
    CB Eggbeater pedals
    Conti Mountain King rubber

Nice ride! I love my Origin8 Scout29 too. It's a slightly heavy frame, but you can get it kinda of light. Going rigid would shed some serious grams. But not everyone's a masochistic MTBer... Don't blame you for wanting some squish.

Why? Have you ever ridden one non-groomed trails? You gotta beat a little!
