    New National SS Champ.....

At 55 years old... Say what you want to about Ned, but be sure to include that he's a " BAD ASS " And yes he uses Bar Ends. Quote, Im surprised you dont see more single speeders using bar ends, he said. They give you way more leverage for the climbs.

    U go Ned!

Dude has always been my mountain bike hero.

And I'm only 2 years older than him! We're practically bros.

Anyone see the "EBB30" on his bike? Apparently a Zipp bottom bracket can thread in to a standard EBB, and it's compatible with a BB30 crank.

Not bar ends in the traditional sense, but th Cane Creek Ergo bar ends integrate perfectly with Oury lock ons. I find them to be excellent for SS climbing.

I love bar ends, but not with the tight single track here in New England. Catch one sapling with a bar end, and you will know why I don't use them!
