new chain??
I got about around 1200 miles on my chain, and it
seems it does not run very smooth after my last
chain tension adjustment, cog and chain ring
were new with this chain I see some wear but
not bad, if I just replace the chain should I be ok?

Since it doesn't run smooth after an adjustment I wonder if the chain is under too much tension. Otherwise, a new chain may not be a bad idea.

Measure the chain for wear (google will give you pages of links to do this) or buy a gauge. Check the teeth on your sprocket and chainring. Shark fins are just as bad to see here as they are in the ocean. I would think you are close to the wear limit after 1200mi depending on the chain. If so, replace it before it damages the other components.
Chains aren't too expensive. KMC z610hc or k810 would be my pick. They seem to have gone up in price over the last few months, but still, only about $12 or less.

I'd recommend a new chain for sure even with out seeing it. A chain checker is like $15 and $15-$25 gets you a quality 8 speed chain.

I replace my chain often, so I save $ by NOT abusing cog and chainring. I only know my chain is worn by using the tool. I don't know how much I am saving vs using chain/cog/chainring until they are wasted and just replacing all 3 at once. Hmmmmm. At least by buying chains, I feel justified to buy my bike presents, and they are cheap.
