    My Surly Speeds

    My Bikes:

My Black Pacer...my sexy beauty a la fixed. it kicks a$$, and she's fun to ride, and she was cheap, and wears ENO Eccentric. Lovely at 46/16.

My Black KM...my sexy beauty, defeats SUVs, fat chicks, and fast food. It also thinks it can deflect bullets. Its set up with a 42/18...because I have been commuting it to ISS.

My Black Schwinn...stays put on a rainy day...its got a knob.

And now, introducing, the brown sugah. HA! Yes, a brown KM that will have a tall gear and drop bars.

    AAAA!!!!! I have a boner!

Dammit! that bike's got gears! My eyes! they're buuuurning! GAAAAA!!!!!

    J/K. A bike's a bike right?
If I drove a bigger SUV, lived in a $600,000 house, owned all the unnecessary bling, I'd own the whole Surly collection. But no. I'm happy with what I have now. 3 bikes. One with a verosity that equals that of a hot teacher after a teenage boy.

Ha! Here in SoCal $600,000 gets you 600sq. feet in a 1 bedroom apartment with no garage and a $245 Homeowners Association fee.
You'd have no money left for a new Surly!
Hey, if you get that 1x1 for $2, I'll buy it off you for $3.

Here in WI, if I buy a 600K house, I'd get like 4 bedrooms in a swanky hood a la bling with some money left over to buy cattle.

But seriously, you can get a nice house for about $200K, 3 br, a stove, and a lawn.

You got me worried there for a while.

    Issok.

Yes, when people owe me $$$, I ask my college biatches to throw red gatorade at the deadbeats. Then they use paper towels.

    Paper towels piss me off.

    sweet quiver!

    veddy, veddy nice, EfW.

one question; why is your black KM done up for commuting when you have your fixie?
no offroad riding in the winter?

looking forward to seeing "Ms. Cinnamon" in her completed garb.

    Well...here's the situation:

I opt for the Black KM because the tires are fatter, and when I need to ride on the snow, I do. The fixie has skinny tires, so with icy roads, I don't want to fall, hit my mouth on the hard ground, and get the septum caught on the chainring.

But once it gets nicer outside, the Fixie will be ridden with a vengance. The type of vengance from a mother seeking retribution.

The Brown Macaque will be my biatch bike. Commuting when it feels like it, mtb'ing when it feels like it, and grocery shoppin' when it feels like it. As soon as that's finished, the Black KM will go on the rack in the garage to save its sweet soul from the salt.

    Amen.

Ahh, yes, wise man with healthy septum and strong prostate...
that makes sense. though my 25mm roadie tires on my fixie cut through stuff and make contact with solid matter pretty darn well. plus, skiddin' on the fixie in the wet-N- slick is like revisiting 11 years of age with a vengence!
