    My summer project 99% complete...

Hi, I just finished my summer project. The first thing I did was convert my Giant XTC (stock) to singlespeed and as some of you have already seen this was the outcome:

Well I decided I'd like a really nice looking SS so this is what I did to the XTC:

What do you guys think? Apart from the fork and handlebars, changes were mostly cosmetic, but I really like the way the bike rides now. I think I'll get some slicks and some new pedals and call it a day.

    Looks good

I like the white with no decals!

What are those bars? I love wide, flat bars with lots of sweep. If that is a Surly fork, front end just dropped about 2-3 inches! Did the geometry change affect how it handles too much?

Go ride it now and post pics of it dirty!

    Thanks for your comments.

The bars are Dimension Arc bars, got them pretty cheap but they are not wide at all. And yeah the fork is Surly and the front dropped about 2 inches minus the Duke's sag. Feels more responsive but can't tell for sure, I have only ridden it once around the block.
