My plea to you, the Luddites of the mtn bike world.

Hello all,

You may, or may have not (if you're some sort of ssingle forum hermit), heard about a little interwebz popularity contest that's going on RIGHT NOW!!!

For the uninitiated, this a contest for a comped entry into the Breck Epic in exchange for our finely crafted wordsmithing/bloggitiness about the experience as it unfolds. If you go and read my entry, you'll find buried in there that I plan to ride this thing fixed. That's my schtick, my burden....I hope ya'll will vote for me so I can tell this story to somebody, anybody....pleeeeeaze.

What will the story contain?
Chapters about what it takes to get ready:

And the story behind pictures like these,
hopefully some good times, il Giro represent!

photo c: M. Boy'es
but more than likely, lots of this,
post Tahoe100 slumtown:

photo c: Jen Vrilakas

so, please, vote for me...and yeah, Dicky too I guess
even though he's CRUSHING me in the tally.
vikings....meh.

hrumpf.

Sorry, Dicky is a "teammate" so I had to give him the nod. BKB baby. Besides, his blog is very entertaining.... yours, not so much.
Authorities speculate that speed may have been a factor. They are also holding gravity and inertia for questioning.

Daim Bramage seemed to help Dicky's writing skillz... or was it the inhaling?

Good luck with the race, whether you get the free entry or not.

I once knew a girl from Carlisle. I met her on Nantucket (there's a limerick in there somewhere).
Anyhoo you got my vote for going fixed.
