    New question here. Monocog frame from JensonUSA--needs prepping?

    SSers who bought your monocog from jensonusa: did your frame need any prepping (face+chase, etc) before building? i don't wanna spend too much on a campus beater. thanks.

    chase and face never hurt...

    but if you're going the cheapo route, it may not be worth the effort...
    or find an old frame from the LBS and convert that... (semi horizintal dropouts.. = good)

    well, rarely are there old frames with enough top tube length for me. monocog is as close as i get at this price point.
