Monocog 29 vs Monocog 29 Flight sizing

I have a 17" MC29 with a Salsa fork. A new set of wheels has me thinking about about an upgrade to the Flight. It just seems easier to buy a new bike than to fuss with the brakes every time I change my rear cog. :D

I seem to recall a thread about how the geometry differences between the regular MC29 and the Flight might affect one's choice in frame size. Of course now that I'm interested in such things, I can't locate the thread.

Anyone have any experience with both frames?

The top tube on the regular MC is a tad longer, and the head tube angle is 1 degree steeper on the 17" and up. The difference is only about 16-18mm on the top tube between the two. A stem replacement can overcome this difference. The Flight is a little more compact than the regular MC.
