    Lynskey Love

Just a heads up on those guys at Lynskey, they are an incredible bunch of guys. I had an issue with my Pro 29 that I noticed sunday night. Sent an email sunday night and @ 8:30 a.m. monday I get a call from Don telling me to get it to them as soon as I can. (I did mention that I was doing the fool's gold saturday) I ship it off monday, they get it tuesday and send it back out the same day! You probably wouldn't think much of it except the fact that they 1) welded new sliders on both sides. 2) welded a brake brace on the non drive side. 3) etched Lynskey on the downtube and "Just one Fix" on the top tube for me. I only sent the frame in for an issue with the sliders, they put the brake brace on themselves and etched it for....let's just say really cheap. I asked if I could buy an extra set of dropouts since I plan on keeping the frame and instead of one set, I got two. I recieved a total of 4 phone calls from them over the last 2 days making sure I was kept up to date on what was going on and today to make sure that I had recieved my frame and I was happy with it.
I must say that I had an issue with my Jet 9 and it was handled very well by Niner but the treatment I recieved from Lynskey was way beyond anything I have ever experienced from ANY company. These guys know their stuff and they treat their customers like no other. So beware when dealing with Lynskey, you may get a lot more for your money than you ever bargained for. Here are some pics after I got it back. Notice Dan's (Isuckatriding) chainring.

What's the HT Angle on that frame? Looks super steep. But maybe just due to camera angle?

Awesome frame! I just started riding a Lynskey 3-series road bike and love it. My next bike will be a Pro 29 or Ridgeline when my One9 gets tired and some funds drop into my empty account.

BTW.....I'll be suffering at Fools Gold too.....See you Saturday morning

    nice!

Lynskey is by far my favorite hardtail builder, hands down, They are ALL great guys - i have worked with them in the past, to even include sort of helping sell On One bikes that involved some Lynskey-made versions, and was VERY VERY impressed with how they handled customer considerations and now that I am 100% consumer, with my second Lynskey frame on the way i could not be more excited for a bike!

As others have noted, they are TOP NOTCH and I recommend them 100%!

    I've got one too...

You have a super nice bike. I built an SS up earlier this year; Lynskey Pro29, king h-set, king SS hubs on salsa delgado's, juicy 5's, manitou fork (w/ fix), salsa flat bars, so damn fast and so damn nice.

Cruso, quick question: what finish do you have on your Lynskey?

    TIA!

I guess if you have a Benz then having a Lynskey is a no brainer! Nice bike, love the lines, and it even matches the car!!!
