Jason Shelman on SS in 2nd in CTR

Jason is once again killing it on his Don bike in the Colorado Trail Race here are a couple of photos from today..

The top of S Fooses Creek steep and painful, mile 244

Just past Silver Creek, headed into some serious wilderness, no more resupply until Silverton.

Right now Jason is in Second place behind Owen Murphy how is just flying out there.

You can check out Jason and all the racers progress at http://www.climbingdreams.net/ctr/

    Cheers,

    P.T.
Could it be that the mystery has been hanging out hiding in a whiskey shot?

I think Jason had a 32 22, I'll find out for sure and let you know. That race is the true Colorado hardman event, brutal.

and he did it with flat pedals. wow

430 miles of the CT in just over 4 days is ridiculous for the winner. 108 miles a day on that terrain at those altitudes. yikes. crazy endurance/will power.
