It's here! My new Surly 1x1...

Brown Santa delivered yesterday. I stayed up late building it so I could ride it to work today!

    Surly 1x1
    Marzocchi MX Comp w/ ETA
    Maxm Riser Bar
    Oury Lock-ons
    Cane Creek S2 Headset
    Thompson Stem
    Maxm Seatpost
    Flite Saddle
Deore Front Disc Brake w/ Gothic Rotor
XT Front hub w/ Mavic 225 Rim
XT Rear Disc Brake w/ Goodridge line
WTB Speed Disc Hub w/ Dual Duty Rim (for my fatass)
LX cranks w/ Truvativ 32t ring
Salsa Trials guard w/ evil red chainring bolts
    Time XS Pedals
    Sram PC-58 chain
    Gussett cog & spacers
    Panaracer Fire 2.1 tires w/ Stan's

It's been a long time since I've heard the "PING" of a pebble from the tire hitting a steel frame. Ahhhh....

Very nice. Where did you get the bottle cap screws? i'm having a hard time finding some black ones for mine. they seem to be sold out or unavailable every place i ask when ordering something else.

I've got to get a better pic. The static "leaning against the bookshelf at work" pic blows.

    That's a nice bike!

    Very nice looking bike...enjoy.

What are your thoughts on the MaxM bar/post? I just put a set on my bike and was disappointed with the finish (on the bar especially). They seem to be painted matte black with stickers. The paint scratches very easily and I had a hell of a time sliding on my Oury lock-on grips.

Nice setup!! Looks like it will give you plenty of enjoyment!

Where did you find the XT Crank bolts (10mm) seperately - or did they come with the LX crank now?

Nice setup. I especially like the Gothic front rotor. Those look soooooo cooooool. Post a close up pic of that front rotor so everyone can check it out.
