    Inbred Incoming

Here is a picture of the new machine just back from its maiden voyage. The frame and wheels are new, other parts are a mixture of used and very used. I threw it together with bits and pieces I had lying around and what I scrounged from other people.

    Inbred SS Frame
RS SID XC fork circa 2000
    syncros post, flight gel saddle
inbred hubs with reetard rims and Conti vertical pro 2.3 tires
    Avid SD7 brakes and levers
    Easton Monkeylite CT2 bar
FSA V drive crank with RF bottom bracket
    32-17 gearing

Bike is a lot of fun to ride, although I did wish for an 18 or even 20 when riding South Mountain Mormon-National this morning.

Nice bike! So Mo is much nicer with the slightly bigger cog in the back. I'm running 34x18 mostly for DD or Hawes, but 34x20 or (gasp) 34x22! for the steep steep stuff.

Good to see you back on a bike! Maybe you need to come out for a TNR butt-kicker.

Thanks Scott, unfortuanately my new work schedule involves teaching night classes so night rides are off the schedule for the forseeable future.
Today was my seconds singlespeed ride ever. It certainly teaches you to pick your lines more carefully, with the 5-spot I could just plow through and over things without worrying.
