btw, I only said yes because you felt you needed to ask the question. A real singlespeeder wouldn't care what anyone else thinks.

maybe, but not if you are faster. Seriously, wouldn't they just assume you are also a roadie? If they don't like that then that is their own issue.

The only way shaving your legs is acceptable is if you shave your entire body... eyebrows included...

Beards seem almost mandatory for SSers here - not sure about the total body shave.

Hehe... people ask me why I shave my legs... the thing is I don't! I have close to none, never really had any but since hitting 50 (... back 5 years ago...) it seems I have even less... And yes, I have a tatoo.

If you go to SS Nationals, you will find that 99.7% of the fastest most legitimate single speed talent has shaved legs.

Do what you want and don't think so much about it...who cares..

Usually, these guys spend a ton of time on the road and are pseudo-roadies, so...

if you fall a lot and are constantly needing to clean wounds ... then no- gotta do what ya gotta do

if you don't fall much, and are just sitting on your couch lazily caressing your shaved legs, then yes

It just seems to me that all the time shaving legs could be better spent riding a bike. Maybe if you are one of the few who have more than enough time to ride then I can see it.

I honestly don't know how long it takes to shave legs though so take that or leave it. It seems like it takes my wife about 5 to 10 minutes or so. She has had quite a bit of practice at it though.

You could just shave one leg and see how people judge you before fully commit.

Just don't shave your chest - that will seriously compromise your manhood.

A better method would be to pluck each one individually. Show us how tough you really are.

    I'm pretty hairy.....
The hair on my head is 3ft long. I have/had a beard. My chest mane is a point of pride.
But I shave my legs. Just cause.
