    I are live in L.A.

I finally got a picture of this...your city tax dollars at work. I have thought of sending it to the local city rep just for fun.

I forgot to mention that they go on like this for more than half of a mile. I think that there are 6 in all like this, no correct ones for the whole stretch.

actually I think this is correct. If you were a car driving you would first read "bike" then "lane" unless they mispelled something and I think they had a letter backwards but now that I"ve replied I can't see the damn picture

ive seen stuff just as bad. in south orange county, where my parents live, they have huge speed bumps (great to launch off of, I must add).

so, these bumps have warnings painted on the ground- most say "bump ahead", but after the latest re-slurry/pave/whatever, the street painters must have had a few hydraulic sandwiches for lunch.

    I saw:

    BMUP AHEAD
    SOTP
    BMUP with a backwards "P"

but they never hozed "ahead", which amused me.

    Hump

There was a road in Glen Ellen that we used to go by as kids and it had a homemade sign that read "HUMP - children at play". Never failed to produce a gigglefit from my brothers and I.

Just shows the caliber of people that end up working for the city/county.
