Santa Clara County Deputy Arrests Pool Surfers
On 03-13-2005, two suspects were arrested for vandalism after being caught skateboarding in an empty pool. During the investigation, information recovered indicates the two male suspects may have committed similar incidents across the state.
Please check your cases to see if you have any similar incidents.
Here is the M.O.
While wearing clothing similar to pool servicemen, the two suspects would locate a pool where the home was for sale, abandoned or under construction. They would empty the pool and skateboard in the pool causing damage. Burglary may be involved in some cases.
Please contact the West Valley Property Crimes Unit...

You mean the deputies, right?
Seen Dogtown and Z Boys?
This picture is of the first time anyone was getting air from a vertical skateboard "ramp" of any kind. These guys pioneered all that is now x-games. If you weren't into skating at that time, it's hard to understand I suppose.
They also pioneered emptying out other peoples' pools so they could skate. 8^)
Jay Adams gets the world's first air!

Actually that's Jay Adams.
