Hope pro 2 Evo ss hub ?

I will be upgrading to the hope pro 2 Evo 2 ss
rear hub in the near future, my formula ss hub
has threaded cassete barrel were the lock ring
threads on to hold the cog in place, does the
hope hub cassete barrel use the same
    system?

from what I can see in the info on the their
website and pictures it does not have the
    threaded cassete barrel.

No, the Hope uses spacers and a lock ring like a multispeed hub, but has wider flanges and a shorter freehub body. It is also 48 poe with offset pawls (2 x 2 pawls with the same 24 teeth ratchet).

    Yes, and no.
Yes, Hope uses a std. cassette lockring (SRAM, Shimano, Surly).
No, it doesn't come with the hub, and AFAIK the Formula SS has external threads.
Oh & yeah, the Hope spacers are sweet..
