    The hills got flatter!

At least that is what it seems since I started SS. Took my gearie up Harding Truck trail and climbed in a gear that mimicked my SS (32/20) just to see if I could do it. WOW, never thought I could climb the way I did.SS has definitely made me stronger!

Anyone else felt this after riding SS?

I just found the same thing...

After riding nothing but my SS for the past few years, I busted my rear axle and had to get back on my geared bike.
I had no idea a gearie would be so much faster. Not sure why, you'd think that being forced to push the bigger gear on the SS would mean that the SS would be faster, but not the case.

I still can't wait to get back on my SS though.
